The part of this bill to treat electronic vaporizers as cigarettes will do much more harm to many people. This is nothing more that helping out the big tobacco corporations as they are losing market share and the government who is losing tax revenue.

In my role as a dietitian see first-hand the devastating impacts of poor nutrition but also the incredible empowerment and positive actions taken by the public when the right information is shared at the right time, place and context.

I'm signing because when I choose to dine out with friends or family, I want to make the same healthy choices that I make at home. That means low or no sodium - and I have absolutely no idea what the cooks in the kitchen are putting in my food.

I am signing this petition because being a nutrition professional, it is my responsibility to promote awareness among the public about what could affect their health. I believe that posting the levels of sodium in the food served in the restaurants will be a great way of enabling healthy choices.

I always contact food suppliers to complain about too much salt-even in peanut butter. I don't dine out because I don't know what I am eating

I am concerned for the health of Cdns due to high blood pressure and a lack of awareness of link to sodium intake.

I hope this will lead the way for similar legislation in B.C. The whole nation is getting unhealthier, partly because we are eating out more and more often. Information is power.

This will help me manage my sodium levels and encourage restaurants to offer lower sodium choices
