Honour our Obligation - Create Military presence in Ukraine

Honour our Obligation - Create Military presence in Ukraine
Dear Boris Johnson,
I urge you to reconsider your standing on military presence in the Ukraine.
The British and the American Government have made a promise to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in 1994 in the Budapest Memorandum. A promise to be protected from Invasion, a promise we already failed to keep with the annexation of Crimea. We asked Ukraine to give up their nuclear power, a significant military advantage they could have had in exchange for safety.
While I understand that the United Kingdom is under no legal or political obligation to honour this promise, we have a duty to do so.
Further escalation is undesirable at best and a direct confrontation of our armed forces is not in the interest of anyone. However I urge you to have a military presence within the Ukraine and the Ukrainian sky.
The Ukrainian people are fighting for our democracy, the democracy of the free world.
If we can’t fight with them let’s at least show them and the world that we stand with them.
Protect civilian life, children our future.
I commend you in your efforts to send military and humanitarian aid and impose sanctions but we need to do more and we need to do more now before more innocent people lose their homes, their freedom and their lives.
Be brave Mr. Johnson, be brave like all the people around the world standing up for peace, be brave like the Ukrainian people who are fighting, be brave like the Ukrainian government by their side.
Show the world what we stand for.
We can not and we do not stand for WAR.
Thank you for your attention.
