Petitioning Honorary Consul Mr Felix Pintado

Stop the extrajudicial killings in the Philippines

This petition of concerned Australian organisations and Australians draws attention to the Philippine Consulate of Victoria our objection to the current campaign of President Rodrigo Duterte encouraging the Filipino police and general public to murder suspected drug users and/or suppliers and revoking the human, civil and political rights of these people.

We call on the Philippine Consulate of Victoria to raise awareness to the Philippine Government of our objection to this campaign, to put an end to it immediately and campaign for Philippine drug policy that focuses on the upholding the health and human rights of people who use drugs.

This petition has been launched and is supported by Students for Sensible Drug Policy Australia, Harm Reduction Victoria, the Yarra Drug and Health Forum, Harm Reduction Australia (Victoria), Family Drug Support (Victoria), YouthRise Australia, Enpsychedelia Community Radio; in support of the international campaign of the Asian Network of People who Use Drugs (ANPUD) and the International Network of People who Use Drugs (INPUD).
