On May 1, 2012 three year old Haley Kluwe was found dead after her mother called her doctor asking to have her narcotic prescription filled without being seen by the doctor as is normally required. When asked why she couldn't come to the appointment she stated her daughter died. The doctor's office contacted the police (which Leann Leszynski had not done) to report a non-responsive child based on the mother's phone call and the police found her badly bruised body on a mattress, taken from this world much too soon due to the abuse and neglect of her own mother and her mother's boyfriend. You can read the criminal complaint here: http://steffimarie79.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/leszynskicharge-1-1.pdf
These two were charged with neglect resulting in the death of a child. They should have been charged with murder, but due to investigative issues this was not possible.
We are asking you to read the criminal complaint, which both Streicher and Leszynski have both plead to the main charge of as part of a plea deal, come back here and sign this petition asking that the judge ignore any plea deal and sentence both defendants to the maximum term of incarceration allowed by law. These two murdered a child! This baby will never see daylight or walk free again-- neither should they. They are both due to be sentenced soon: Leszynski on April 12, 2013, and Streicher on May 22, 2013. Ask the judge to send a message that child abusers/murderers do NOT deserve plea deals or leniency. It is so important that he hear from the public and that we express our outrage. These two should be facing life sentences, not ever being able to walk free again. Haley needs our voices. She can't be saved anymore, but do NOT let her death be in vain.

Honorable Judge James Pouros
Sentence Streicher and Leszynski to max sentence allowable by law
