Juneteenth is a holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans. It is celebrated on June 19th, and has been celebrated since 1865. Juneteenth is an important holiday because it reminds us of the struggles and sacrifices that African-Americans have made in order to gain freedom. 

This year, Juneteenth is especially significant because it marks the 155th anniversary of the holiday. In order to commemorate this momentous occasion, we are calling for an official US Postal stamp to be issued. A Juneteenth stamp would serve as a permanent reminder of the importance of this holiday, and would help to ensure that its history is never forgotten. Juneteenth is a holiday that belongs to all Americans, and an official stamp would help us to come together and celebrate our shared history.
