Freedom of expression and freedom of the press are core values of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong government's refusal to renew the work permit of Victor Mallet and to deny him entry to the city can only be seen as an attack on these freedoms in spite of the government's claims to the contrary. Actions speak louder than words!

I feel sad and sorry for the recent situation kept happening in Hong Kong over the years, including what was happening to Mr. Mallet. And now I even much more clearly feel like an ant trapped on a heated hot pan and doing not find a way for getting out here... maybe just like other Hongkongers that still living here, but already dead in half and even more too...
