I’m completely disgusted! How is this even allowed?? So I felt like my bump looked weird because it was super low and not perky like the models because of FAKE FOAM BELLIES?! Sure a disclaimer would be nice, but banning the use of them completely would be even better. As if we need that sort of pressure!

It's ridiculous to expect women to look like size 8 models when they are pregnant. Show real pregnant women that look beautiful in fitting clothes, whatever the size!

Why on earth would you have pretend pregnant people when selling to really pregnant people? It's not even logical as well as being unethical.

It puts me off buying clothes when the bump is so blatantly fake, I can't get a true idea of what they will look on an actually pregnant body shape

I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant with my second child (and 4 years older than I was when pregnant with my first). I have found clothes shopping very frustrating this time round, and a real blow to my self-esteem, falling into a pattern of buying things online that I'm nearly certain will not suit me nor look anything like they do on the tiny models- I thought it was just me! Thank you very much for highlighting this issue and starting the petition, and for demanding more transparency from retailers.
