Request for SNBP School Pune fee cut for 2020-21 Due to penedamic situation.
We all know that in the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, it is very difficult for schools to provide education to students the way it is being provided in school campuses. The school has come with possible alternate methods to engage students and provide education but if we really look practically, as parents, we have the following concerns and expect the management committee of the school to look at them.
1. Online sessions are not effective
2. No sports activities from school
3. No computer classes
4. Online screen time is not good for kids' eyes.
5. For teaching and study, parents have to give more time and effort whereas actually a teacher is required.
6. No proper way to teach drawing and music. It is more a self-activity and no proper involvement of school
7. Teachers can not even concentrate properly with students
8. Our children do not focus on the screen. Each and everything has to be explained by parents.
9. Teachers do not bother whether students are understanding or not. All teachers are totally dependent on their parents.
10. Parents have to give full time to their ward while online lectures are going on and have to explain each and every point which has been taken in online lectures so it's very hectic. If both are working, they have to handle the office as well as school at the same time.
11. No co/extracurricular activities from school. Whatever activities are given by school are not really helpful and parents need to teach activity instead of teachers.
12. While in an online class, any time, either we or the teacher lost connectivity
13. Students of 1st standard are not showing any seriousness during online class and still, they do not see school kind of feeling.
14. Because of the lockdown and global financial crisis, we also see a financial impact on us in our Job
15. Online classes are going on for 80 min (40 minutes each) instead of regular school of 330 minutes (five and half hours daily from 8 AM to 1:30 PM)....around 75% reduction in class timings.
We know that this year 2020-21 brought unexpected challenges for all of us and we will need to keep dealing with these challenges throughout the year. As schools can not give proper expected education in this situation, to demand full fees is an injustice to parents. We as parents are requesting and expecting cooperation from the school to reduce fees for this year. We know that we can not control the current situation but we should come with a win-win option for both parents and school. And therefore we are requesting to reduce school fees by 50%.
We hope our concerns really matter to you and we are confident that you will discuss this with School management as well as Hon'ble Education Minister Varshatai Gaikwad to revisit and reduce Private school fees soon in 2020-21 and hope that your decision will be a Win-Win for parents and school.
