People having families split between USA and Canada are facing great difficulty in meeting their siblings and parents, grand parents and children. The fully vaccinated residents find it difficult to meet their family members as they have to go through these expensive and inconvenient tests which requires anywhere from USD/CAD 70.00 to 300.00 per person depending upon the urgency and timelines.

There are people living on either side of the border and if these tests are eliminated they can drive across the border in a short period of time and meet their families easily. The test requirement was once abolished in the month of November for travellers of a duration not exceeding 72 Hours but was again reimposed before Christmas. More than 81% Canadians are fully vaccinated and more than 45% have got their booster dose, most of the provinces have already relaxed their health and safety related restrictions.

Therefore it's high time that Pre travel COVID 19 test for coming into Canada are removed for fully vaccinated travellers. This test is causing stress and avoidable expenses to several hundreds of thousand travellers who would like to connect with their family members.
