Support the calls for the Western Australian Government to provide independent funding support for the Aboriginal Males Healing Centre Strong Spirit Strong Family Strong Culture Inc. (AMHC). We are the first innovative Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) in the Southern Hemisphere. We work with Aboriginal men who use violence and apply a residential trauma-informed therapeutic healing and well-being model.

The WA Government financially supports the Communicare Breathing Space program, a not-for-profit white patriarchal residential Men's Behaviour Change Programs (MBCP’s). However, these existing residential MBCP's are not inclusive and empathetic of the traumatic effects and impacts of colonisation on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and their families. 

MBCP’s and non-indigenous not-for-profit organisations who deliver these programs are disingenuous and culturally void of authenticity and validity. They design mainstream MBCP's to target a particular cohort who is culturally allied and enabled with the Western patriarchal system. Aboriginal men and their communities co-exsist with a 60,000-year-old lore and culture system.
