I used the Coolum area back in the 90's, it was the most peaceful and quiet place to live. It has been destroyed by developers looking for a quick buck. The buck stops here.

There is an environmental reason for flood plains and it doesn’t involve development.

Flood plains are more important than wave pools. We have an ocean here that has natural waves

Just the mention of 'PDA' gets my back up. It's a license for developers to bypass the normal development process and allows no input from the affected community, until it's too late. When are developers going to get a conscience and some moral values?

This is my home, there is already enough damage by developers of clearcutting residential blocks of all trees without consequence or conscience. destroying wetlands for a quick buck and creating future problems in KNOWN flood prone areas should not be allowed.

We need to save as many coastal habitats as we can. If developments keeps taking over, the native and migratory animals relying on these areas will die out. If we lose them, it has a very bad affect on our ability to exist.

This endangers lives, natural habitat and increases environmental degradation. Please reconsider this development.
