Currently Same-Sex Couples DO NOT have the freedom to Marry the person they love in Australia.

As a resident on the Electrol Roll for Lalor I believe this issue needs to be addressed with Ms Gillard to gain her support in the stop against the discrimination faced by Same-Sex Couples and denying them the option of Marriage.

I have a Same-Sex female partner and an 8 year old son who are my family. I would love the opportunity to legally Marry my partner in Australia.

By denying Same-Sex couples the choice to Marry we are sending out a message that it's ok to discriminate on the ground of Sexual Orientation and gender, and that Same-Sex Couples are not capable of the level of Love and Commitment associated with Marriage.

Marriage provides health and well-being benefits and security for partners and their children, where they are currently excluded.

I want to provide my son with the same rights, respect and recognition as other children have.

I ask residents who reside in the LALOR district to please support Marriage Equality by signing this petition and share with us WHY MARRIAGE EQUALITY IS IMPORTANT TO YOU.
