Due to ongoing pandemic, India has been taking all necessary measures to fight against Covid-19. With all of your and your team's effort along with support from citizens of India, we are in a better position than most countries around the world. Since the announcement of nationwide lockdown version 1.0 from March, which was extended to may that is version 2.0 of the lockdown. We have seen during this lockdown that there are people who are going to buy groceries, stepping out of home and coming in contact with Covid-19 victims and virus is getting spread, though at a lower rate.

Today Lockdown 3.0 has been announced till May 17, 2020. The virus is not going to stop spreading unless there is total lockdown for 14 days and all people remain in quarantine, complete isolation. Therefore I raise this petition for a total country lockdown for 14 days. Though we are taking extreme measures of which I am proud of my nation, leaders and their citizen but, this is still a partial lockdown and not a total lockdown. Unless people are coming out of their homes we cannot fight this. All small and large businesses are suffering, everyone is affected by this Pandemic. There has to be a total curfew and a shoot at sight order for those who try to break the curfew or come out of their home.

This sounds harsh and extreme because we are seeing this pandemic as a disease and not a war. Unless we see this as a war, we are not going to overcome this. Now assume that there is a world war 3 and Fighter jets of enemy countries are hovering over our buildings and our homes, we are locked inside our home, you cannot turn on the light at night or else your building would be bombarded. It is for the survival of your life, you have to manage with any food you have. If you leave out of your home you are shot dead. Borrow food from your neighbour apartment or your neighbour home, manage in whatever you have for fourteen days. STUDY SUGGESTS THAT HUMANS CAN SURVIVE WITHOUT FOOD FOR 30-40 DAYS UNLESS THEY ARE PROPERLY HYDRATED. It is just a question of fourteen days. Even while doing this Fatality would be less than covid-19, the risk is lower than a partial lockdown.

If we compare extreme 14-day lockdown with Partial 3 months lockdown. Extreme 14-day lockdown is more beneficial than 3 months lockdown, after which situation would be totally under control, economy and small business would get hit, but not as much as it is getting hit by the uncertainty and extension of lockdown day by day. After which country will come out stronger than ever. Risk of bouncing back of disease would be lesser after lockdown opens and the borders of the country are sealed.

Due to this partial lockdown observers state that the lockdown has slowed the growth rate of the pandemic by 6 April to a rate of doubling every six days, and, by 18 April, to a rate of doubling every eight days (Figures From Wikipedia) within next 14 more days of lockdown we would not be able to manage to extend doubling rate by not more than 4 days. The disease is going to spread unless people come out of their homes to buy vegetabl, fruits and grocery.

The I request all higher authorities for a total lockdown or shoot on sight order. This is a WAR and not a disease.
