Food at Airports at Reasonable Prices

Food at Indian Airports is typically sold at exorbitant prices. For example, A cup of filter coffee inside Bangalore Airport costs Rs70/-

While we do not have any grouse against shops selling food at high prices, government should ensure that there are enough counters where common man can buy food and beverages at reasonable prices and quality (Indian Railways have always provided us with such options). Also these shops can sell packaged food at MRP (items like biscuits, juices, chocolates, savories etc).

So this petition is to request the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airport Authority of India to create a policy that each Airport should have a minimum number of budget eateries (also selling various packaged food at MRP) located prominently in each airport's various waiting areas.

This will tremendously ease expenses of regular citizens who are travelling on their own expenses.
