AP Govt created recently a new district in the State of Andhra Pradesh viz., Sri Sathya Sai District. District Collector Nagalakshmi Selvarajan has begun identifying buildings in Puttaparthi town for housing necessary offices until permanent arrangements are made.  Thus, 6 of the properties belonging to Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust have been identified by the collector and one of them is Sai Mirpuri College of Music which was built in the year 2000 by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba primarily to develop music to great heights.

Thousands of Sai Devotees expressed their concern in different forums, world over at the above proposal of the Collector to occupy the Music College for housing the Collector's office.  We share the sentiments expressed by Sri Raju in his email dated 01-03-2022 to the Hon CM. We would be grateful if the CM would ensure that the sacred precinct of Prasanthi Nilayam is used only for purposes for which it was established by the Kaliyuga Avatar Sai Baba and not for housing Govt offices, though it may be for a stop gap arrangement.

Your directions to the Collector not to occupy will be highly appreciated by all Sai Devotees and more so by SAI BABA HIMSELF
