"We, Indians want strictest action against the accused Rapists" in the gang rape and torture of a 20yrs old girl in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras.

The mother of the rapped girl said "I was cutting grass and she had moved amway to collect it. when i turned to look, I couldn't found her. I shouted and suddenly spotted one of her slippers. There were drag marks near it. I followed them to find my daughter lying naked with blood coming out of her mouth, she wasn;t being able to talk, her tongue had been slashed.

There was blood flowing out of her mouth when the mother of the 20 yrs old girl died in delhi on tuesday after two weeks she was gang rapped and tortured in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras on September 14th 2020.

India is considered to be the world’s most dangerous country for sexual violence against women. Rape is one of the most common crimes in India now. Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2013 defines rape as penile and non-penile penetration in bodily orifices of a woman by a man, without the consent of the woman. According to the National Crime Records Bureau, one woman is raped every 20 minutes in India. Incidents of reported rape increased 3% from 2018 to 2019. Incidents of reported incest rape increased 46.8% from 268 cases in 2018 to 392 cases in 2019. Despite its prevalence, rape accounted for 10.9% of reported cases of violence against women in 2019.
