Jaffna Hindu College is a national school in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. It was founded in 1890 The College has had a proud record of service in the history of our Country. Many of its distinguished Alumni have held and are holding high positions of responsibility in Sri Lanka. They have all contributed to the national and cultural life of the People of his country. 

After retirement of Mr.I Thayantharajah in 2017,There is no proper principal appointment made for Jaffna Hindu college even Vice principal Mr.Nimalan appointed as acting principal. Ministry not appointed qualified principal yet  in proper way  .

We learned that current acting principal continuously ignoring Circulars .He got several transfer letters but did not follow anything from start. He never got transfer from Jaffna Hindu College  for more than 2 decades  and denying all with political influence.

We also learned ,He involved in donation/Financial corruptions,violation on School physical development procedures. currently He involved in unauthorized fund collections from students for Digital Identity cards, fines over students,school development funds. To do independent inquiry  on this please terminate from his post first .

We urge Education Minister of Srilanka to appoint new qualified Principal for Jaffna Hindu college immediately even as temporarily.
