We the homeowners of Homewood Shores ask our Board of Directors to act on allowing an expansion process for those additional homeowners who want to run for the Board by allowing a 5 day grace period for nominations to the Board. Additionally, we ask that a temporary suspension on current timelines for this election be moved to January 2021 due to the seriousness of confusion and disorganization of the current debacle of an election attempt. Homeowners are left with feeling this disorder will lead to a grave miscarriage of our rights and a violation of our voices being heard. We ask the Board meet on December 17, 2020 to 1) establish a date that provides owners 5 days notice for additional nominations for Board positions being accepted. 2) establish new timelines in January 2021 for collection and counting of proxies and ballots and 3) oversight for collection and counting of proxies and ballots by 2-3 homeowners (within CDC guidelines social distancing/mask wearing). These changes will ensure the voting process allows a reasonable timeframe for everyone who wants to exercise their voting rights to review the final list of names, bio’s, and their reasons for running. With holidays coming, this is not an unreasonable ask of the Board. We ask that all proxies and ballots be mailed to the clubhouse address and held there securely until the deadline in January begins the process of counting and verification with homeowners present as mentioned above.

Due to the ongoing issues with the Community Manager from Park Management, Jacqueline Saucier, we ask under no uncertain terms shall she participate in our election processes which includes obtaining or collection of bio’s from owners who are running, collecting, counting, or verification of proxies and/or ballots. In addition, we ask that the Board of Directors/David Kress reassign a new Community Manager to replace Jacqueline Saucier immediately due to an overwhelming number of complaints that question her violation of ethics.
