Apparently fries are not available at lunches on Friday anymore, which is a tragedy to say the least. In previous years, students looked forward to enjoying the school's delicious fries all week long, and now, to arrive at Friday and find the cafeteria void of the treat we enjoyed for so long is just depressing. The fries were the life blood of the student body, and really added to the general relief of a Friday after noon. Plus, Fry-day is a good pun and it would be a terrible shame to see it go to waste.

Last year, the lack of fries was understandable with all the restrictions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, but the lack of fries this year is simply a disappointment for everyone at the school. Not only did students enjoy them, but teachers as well, and the fry recipe was a place of pride for students, as we felt that our fries were one of the things that made Homestead so special. Plus, who doesn't love fries. I'm sitting here hungry just thinking about it. Hungry and angry. Hangry if you will. I'm angry at the tragic loss of our fries, and though this may sound satire, I legitimately am saddened by the loss of our beloved fries. 

Students could bond over their shared love of fries before, but that opportunity as been taken away at the loss of our fries. So I'm here to politely ask for them back, so please, can we have our fries back?
