Thanks for clicking on Home Works online campaign against the cuts. There is a lot going on behind the scenes, this is just a small part of a big campaign but we are hoping it’s another substantial piece of evidence that will speak volumes. If you have the time to read the brief information on Home Works or have friends and loved ones you know who have received support from the service and are happy to click and sign that would be great. If it is something you feel really passionate about and want to get even more involved in, please follow the links at the bottom of the page.

East Sussex County Council is proposing to reduce the funding for the Home Works service by 50%. Home Works is a crisis support service for people and families in East Sussex, aged 16 to 64, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. If this reduction goes ahead, it will have devastating consequences for thousands of local vulnerable people who are in crisis situations. More than 6,000 people received support from Home Works last year Not only does this help the clients directly receiving the support, it creates a ripple effect throughout families other services. Early intervention services regarding homelessness are currently being used to full capacity, if the 50% cuts come in that's going to be 3000 people unsupported within the next financial year who will potentially lose out on support. Please read clients stories of how Home Works has helped them. We are determined to stop these cuts so please sign, share and click on the links for more information about what else you may be able to do!
