Lorraine Pearmain Pearmain started this petition to Home Secretary Sajid Javid

I am currently undergoing Compulsory Purchase order to my property .

My aim is for the CPO order to be reviewed and to be more transparent in all of its processes,ie the valuations, communications,For it to be supervised, governed and answerable to an independent organisation approachable to all those going through this process.

The elderly are the most vulnerable going through this process they need extra support which is not being addressed ?.IF not why not?.

They have had to knock on neighbours doors at their wits end to seek support in tears .

Not knowing what to do or where to turn?

How can it be right that they have accepted way below the market values for their properties and had to resort to living in mobile homes away from their Local community ?.

Who understands the processes ? Not the layperson ?.

Whats expected of you and by when/

How can you challenge the decisions and by when ?.

Who can answer these questions where are the forums support?.

Why do we have to beg for information or support from the local council who have vested interests in getting you out of the properties and the quicker the better with no practical help or support .

When you have not moved in over 30 /40 years there are lots to sort ?

what if you do not have any  help from  families or friends?.

Who helps you with the practicalities packing sourcing removal companies getting hands on physical help ?.

It appears this information is not available?.

I want the laws to change to look at and respect the wishes and needs or the householder to ensure that needs are met .

To consider and respect our feelings preventing ill-health during this process.

For the government to provide a forum for people to meet and discuss their concerns/issues to alleviate their fears  and support one another to gather current information for help support etc.

People being compulsory purchased are forced out of their properties.

They are not given any realistic market valuations.

People are having to move away from their families, friends, work this is not acceptable .

So forced to move out to totally  different areas.
