The Sierra Ridge Board of Directors proposed and voted to increase HOA dues on 5/6/2021 with zero to no transparency. This petition is not to block that increase but to delay and add transparency to homeowners in the community and allow community members to offer other solutions before increasing fee’s. Our neighbors to west in Meridian started on this path to increase HOA’s and they are now at $400+ a month 10 years into their community. We understand the HOA fee cannot stay static and there is cost of living increase but there is mismanagement in the budget as basic needs like snow removal and area maintenance is severally lacking and those expenses need to be reviewed and fixed before an increase in HOA fee’s is implemented.
