GARDEN MAINTENANCE TO BE AN ESSENTIAL PART OF HEALTH AND SAFETY
GARDEN MAINTENANCE TO BE AN ESSENTIAL PART OF HEALTH AND SAFETY

A neglected garden may lead to unforseen health hazards around the home. Overgrown lawns and vegetation is a perfect place for unwelcomed guests during lockdown. Autumn being the most important time to prune, cut back danger branches and prepare the garden before for the winter rains. A homeowner with zero to no experience and tools designed for these tasks could cause harm to themselves and influcuate hospitals with over worked frontline staff dealing with COVID-19 cases. My concern is that it might be a little too late if Garden Services are only allowed to operate under level 3 restrictions. The service does not require physical interaction with people as the nature of the work is outdoor. Allowing the service to operate under level 4 restrictions will create a clean and safe environment for the community as a whole.
