I will give few details about myself. I am Filipino, registered nurse in my native country and worked 18 years in my profession.
In September 2009 I came in UK on a Student visa. I acheived my certificates 2012 in Adult Health and Social Care L3 2012 & BSNursing 2014. I got working visa after my graduation. The post was Head of Care but unfortunately the sponsor licensed was revoked in November 2015. I was given by the Home Office 60 days to find another sponsor. In December 2015 I found new employer ,and a post of health team leader band 4 which salary of 17k. However the Home Office refused my application in March 2016 and their reason was the post is not on their shortage occupation list. I went through judicial review because the post is almost the same looking after the elderly in a nursing home. Salary wise its no problem for me as i was able to budget with my son who’s in college this time. Again the HO refused my Judicial Review and they gave me another 60 days to look another employer ,which is on the HO shortage occupation list. I am very upset and devastated because all the employer i have seen need NMC pin number. This means i need to get English test and acheive the band score. But I can’t take the said exam on because My passport is in the HO.
After the application of my Judicial Review, last May 2017 my son and I did the biometrics scan and since then i did not receive any feedback from my solicitor or from the HO.
In June 2016 I met my fiance ,and in 2017 we moved in together, and this May we married .
My Son’s Story
My son joined me early 2015 when his 17 years old. He went to college and did some part time job while our visa still ok. In 2016 he was devastated with the refusal of our visa and until now he hasnt been able to work to get income to help his education. But thank God he still concentrating his study with very good grades in IT level 5 Computing Systems Development and has impressive performance in their class with numerous distinctions. His tutor and classmates send supporting letter to the Home Office because they don’t want to lost him.
I would be grateful if you would sign my petition for myself and my family ,as i have a settled family life here for almost 10 years ,and want to live here in my adopted country for many years to come . Thank you Lea
