on 3rd October 2013, I asked for my son Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al-Maktoum to be issued a diplomatic United Arab Emirates passport.  To date, I never received no response or acknowledgment from any officials in the Embassy and as a result has had to resort to legal representation to assist me in communicating with them which costs us a lot of money and have a very bad effect on my son as he is dined all his birth rights by his father he deprived him even he ignores him if he sees him in street or in public, my son suffers a lot from his father.  

The application was presented by myself, both personally by hand and also submitted by email. To all UAE authorities his father legal representative.

The nature of the application is of a sensitive nature, as it involves a young child who is the son of HRH Shiekh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum.  In my application, I have previously submitted with all supporting documentation and Court Orders from legal proceedings in the English family Courts, divorce papers  where it has been established as a point of law and beyond all doubt that  HRH Shiekh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum is the biological father of Master Sheikh Saeed Bin Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum.  

As his position dictates, Sheikh Saeed Bin Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum is entitled to all diplomatic benefits and one such entitlement is that of his diplomatic passport.  Almost five years have elapsed since the original application has been made and to date, the passport has not been issued and Master Sheikh Saeed Bin Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoumhas been denied his privileges.  It is certainly not acceptable that the son of the most respected HRH Shiekh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum be denied his rights and entitlements.  

We are sure that you will now resurrect the application that our client filed with yourselves.  If indeed this has been misplaced, we will file a further application with you.  However, it is now vital that this matter is given the attention and urgency that it deserves.  This is not a normal passport application.  A diplomatic application for the son of HRH Shiekh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, must be dealt with immediately.

We expect an acknowledgment to this letter within 14 days, confirming that Master Sheikh Saeed Bin Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum’s passport will be issued immediately.  Should you fail to acknowledge this correspondence, we will have no option but to take this matter further.  As you may be aware, HRH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum does not wish to make the existence of his son public knowledge – for reasons of his own.  We will of course, honour his wishes, but as the consulate and governing body of the United Arab Emirates, you have your own obligations and duties towards Master Sheikh Saeed Bin Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum.  Should you fail to engage in our correspondence, we will have no alternative but to involve the media, which we are sure that the Sheikh will not wish to happen.  No doubt, he will then seek answers from yourselves.  We truly hope that this will not be necessary and that you will assess our letter to you and the application for Master Sheikh Saeed Bin Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum’s diplomatic passport, as his naturalentitlement as the son of HRH Shiekh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum.
