As a retired nurse's aide of 35 years, I ended up working for an agency that started me at $10 an hour. A year and a half ago they raised my pay up $2 which is a joke considering that they get a whole lot more money from the insurance companies. I have more experience than most people. Home health aids are not licensed in Florida however they should be because they do just as much as a nurse's aide, but get less money a petition to start home health aides that has over 35 years experience as a nurse's aide needs to get a higher wage than 10 11 or even $12 an hour if minimum wage is $15 an hour then guess what home health aide should get $15 an hour.
