A lifetime lover of Star Trek including the new movies, I was so saddened to learn of the death of Anton Yelchin who I thought did a spectacular job portraying our beloved Pavel Chekov.  This past year after learning of Anton's tragic death, I noticed an absolutely stricking resemblance between Elliot Page and a young Walter Koenig! I know it would be odd to have an entirely new actor portraying the role and I hope no one finds it offensive to Anton's memory, but he did such a spectacular job and to lose Chekov in all future Star Trek would be so sad.. So here it is! My silly petition to get someone to notice the uncanny physical resemblance and with Page's acting skills I think it would be absolutely amazing. A profoundly awesome way to honor Roddenberry's vision of the future to cast a trans person in a major role!! Spread the love!!!
