This is a petition to hold the Bahamian government, the Norwegian government and the Stat Oil Group accountable for the environmental damage that happened as a result of the category 6 hurricane Dorian, that struck Grand Bahama and Abaco in September of 2019. This hurricane caused damage to the environment and the ecosystem through an oil spill and it affected this generation and generations unborn. Romauld Sotario Ferreira, former Minister of the Environment, made a statement saying it was only 1 goat and 3 birds that were affected, when in fact, it is this present generation and generations unborn that were/are affected. We are seeking 10,000 signatures to raise awareness and to effect change. Your support is appreciated.
