The reason for this petition is to, "Hold" Secretary Of "HUD" Marcia L. Fudge Accountable for "NOT" Investigating Subsidized Housing Complaints. ** In The Heart of a World Health Crisis Covid-19**

HUD'S PUBLIC HOUSING PROGRAM was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. 

In the center of a " World Pandemic" Marcia L. Fudge ignored our plea for help. On March 11th, 2022, I sent a certified letter to the secretary asking for her help to investigate a complaint that I filed with HUD.     

I offered her all of the evidence I had available so we could further discuss the situation at hand. Instead, Marcia L. Fudge redirected me back to the very person who ignored my initial complaints, Mrs. Womack Bradby, the Richmond Account Executive for "HUD." She was the third HUD associate I spoke to and supposedly the head of the division.

I recently sent Congresswoman Elaine Luria a certified letter, asking for her assistance with this matter as well. I'm very hopeful to see what relief she can provide to the citizens of Virginia Beach.   

I contacted HUD IN 2021, during the most horrifying state of the World Health Crisis Covid-19, because my handicap and disabled sister and I received a filthy and mold infested unit located in Virginia Bch, Va. known as Twin Canal Village/ Burlington Capital Properties, under Hud Subsidy Housing. 

 I was forced to contact the Virginia Beach Code Enforcement Division after giving Twin Canal Village 30 days. They issued Twin Canal Village several code violations. Its 2022 and Twin Canal Village has continued renting unsafe and uninspected units to families, the Disabled and Handicap. This has been the most unconceivable and inhumane situation I've ever experienced!

Hud is acting as accessories in aiding and abetting the unlawful and inhumane violations of Safe and Decent Housing. When a person has gone through the proper chain of commands and their last- ditch effort arrives on the Secretary of HUD'S desk, that should speak volumes, but nothing has been done. There's NO excuse for their lack of action and responsibility for the position they hold, especially during a "Worldwide Health Crisis"!
