We, the grade 12 students of Kitsilano Secondary, do not agree with the irrational decision of the 2022 Gotcha Judges Raihana Shokry, Alice Loy, and Gea Bohane concerning the elimination of Gabe. It is not right that they’ve green lighted the invasion and destruction of private property as a means of playing a game. We are incredibly concerned that their poor judgement sets a dangerous precedent that impacts the lives of not only one  individual’s already damaged vehicle, but also all students affiliated with the game. These leaders should honour the rules that they outlined and those who payed for and agreed to the rules of the original game should get to play that one, not some other dangerous event they were not aware of.
