What is S.P.E.W?

S.P.E.W, or the Society for the Protection of Elvish Welfare, is an organisation focused on emancipating elves and protecting their birth rights. 

What do S.P.E.W do?

According to Wizarding law, if an elf is presented with a clothing item, it will be free of its master. S.P.E.W aims to knit as many clothing items as possible and place them all around Hogwarts.

How can you help?

There are several ways in which you can help rectify this injustice. You can volunteer to knit clothes, put up some of your own if you no longer need them, or even just spread the message that all elves deserve to be free.
