Bring Carly Rae Jepsen to Hofstra University

Every fall, Hofstra University hosts its annual "Fall Fest," appropriately named for the time of year during which it occurs. We are of the staunch belief that this fall, Hofstra University should hire Carly Rae Jepsen as the headliner of this prestigious and iconic music festival. While the headliners of the past few years have been iconic in their own rights (i.e. Fetty Wap, Lil Wayne, etc. etc.), we believe that bringing Carly Rae Jepsen (henceforth referred to as "CRJ") to Fall Fest would be, to quote the great Erika Girardi, "giving the gays everything they want." CRJ, commonly known as the Canadian pop artist responsible for such contemporary hits as "Call Me Maybe," "Boy Problems," and her collaboration with fellow gay icon Owl City on the song "Good Time," recently completed a stint on Carnival cruises as their featured performer. Bringing this acclaimed pop legend to headline Fall Fest would be an act of allyship and ultimately, would transcend boundaries of sexuality to provide a "Good Time" [owl city voice] for all.
