Have Herb Cain inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

Herbert "Herbie" Cain was born in 1913 and Died in 1982.

From 1932 to 1934 he played with the Hamilton Tigers. From 1933 to 1938 he was a player for the Montreal Maroons, and in 1935 won the Stanley Cup. When The Canadiens bought the Maroons , he played for the Canadiens for the 1938-39 season before being traded to the Boston Bruins. In 1941 he again won the Stanley Cup. In 1944, still with the Bruins, he set a league record with 82 points and won the scoring title. He was also named second Team Allstar. After holding out for more money in a new contract, the Bruins owners sent him to the Hershey Bears of the AHL, and prohibited any other team from trading for or signing him. As a member of the Hershey Bears, he helped win their Franchise First Calder Cup. After Retirement he was Diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease. He was given a prognosis of certain death. Refusing to Quit , he sought out an experimental treatment and agreed to be the first human Test subject. This was in 1955. He lived until 1982 after making a full recovery .

My name is Matthew Britton and My Great Grandmother is Herb Cain's Cousin. Along with other current Family members, We have been pestering the Hall of fame to Finally Induct him into the Hall of Fame. He remains the only Scoring Title winner combined with former Montreal Maroon , and two time cup winner to not be yet inducted. As per the Hall of Fame, There is no "Statute of Limitations". Let's get him inducted. Please sign this. With all the fans of the Canadiens and Bruins, as well as fans of The Hershey Bears, we can do this. Herb Cain deserves the honour. Our family appreciates your help.
