It is unfortunate that some employers may request you to breach certain contract laws & GDPR laws without you actually being aware of it, this could be happening in your daily tasks without you being aware of it. 

The majority of employers request new employees to sign a contract of employment to set out certain rules and regulations and to protect themselves from any employee bringing their company name into disrepute, however I don’t feel there is a mandatory document that employers must sign to agree to protect the employee against breaching contract & data breach law without your knowledge.

You may be an employee, unaware of what terms and conditions your employer has agreed in the background of running the business as it doesn’t fall into your job role, or you may not be aware of contract & data protection law at all due to employer negligence or poor training, either way it is important that employers do not request their employees to breach any kind of law without their knowledge.

This petition is to request a mandatory form for all employers to sign upon agreement of any employment contract, to protect all employees from unknowingly breaching contractual agreements made by their employer.
