I am shocked and moved by the amazing bravery the fire service attending the Grenfell tower Fire displayed. The incredible men and women who ran into the tower filled with flames to save people. The fire service are underpaid, over worked and enduring massive budget cuts making their day to day jobs even harder. But dealing with the situations that unfolded in the early hours of Wednesday morning at Grenfell Tower and doing so with bravery that most of us couldn't even dream of demonstrating. These service people should be honoured and given titles. We often give Knighthoods to celebrities. Why not give them to people we can all genuinely admire. Heroes. For with out them many more people would have died.
