I'm calling for a boycott of all Holiday cottages. They should be sold at market price for locals. If Locals cannot afford the sale price they should be placed for Long Term lets for locals !
Holiday parks, cabins, farms with shepherds huts etc,. Fine...but not houses that need families living in them to sustain rural life. Families are being made homeless in the SW and other areas because landlords can make a huge profit by letting out properties weekly. People cannot find anywhere affordable to live. Schools, hospitals, the hospitality industry are all hit by new employees unable to find somewhere affordable to live. People are being given notice from their homes by landlords hoping to cash in on the boom in holiday lets.

There is a big difference between a farmer letting out caravans or cabins and someone renting out a proper house weekly and preventing a family from having a permanent home.
