We all enjoy the visual splendour of a firework display, but the accompanying explosions seem to be growing increasingly louder. This is extremely distressing for pets, wildlife and the elderly, as well as past and present armed service personnel battling with PTSD. 

I propose a legal limit on the volume of firework explosions, in order to ensure the welfare of vulnerable people and animals, whilst retaining the entertainment value of fireworks to onlookers at displays.
