Petition His Eminence Cardinal Dolan to Keep the Church of the Holy Innocents Open   We, the dedicated parishioners of the Church of the Holy Innocents, are fighting to keep our very active parish church open. The Church of the Holy Innocents is currently the only parish in the Archdiocese of New York that has a daily traditional Mass. At this parish church, most of the Sacraments are offered to the faithful according to the ancient rites of Holy Mother Church in order to satisfy their spiritual needs and benefit.   Many of the attendees willingly sacrifice time, talent, and money to attend Mass on weekdays and on weekends in order to participate in the Traditional Latin Mass in a very dedicated manner. At this church, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated in a very reverent manner with beautiful Gregorian chant and very ancient ceremonies.   The Church of the Holy Innocents is a parish that does not need to be consolidated because it is financially viable, it does not have debt, and has significant historical and artistic worth. It also has a very vibrant liturgical life, with a well-attended daily traditional Mass, with very inspiring liturgical processions, Sunday Vespers, a monthly all-night vigil on every first Friday, and numerous volunteer servers and musicians.   Additionally, through the Shrine for the Unborn, dedicated by Cardinal O'Connor in 1993, the Pro-Life ministry of the Church of the Holy Innocents reaches to the four corners of the world, providing healing, consolation, and inspirations to so many other people who are active in the pro-life ministry.    Please consider supporting the parishioners of the Church of the Holy Innocents and the daily traditional Mass by signing this petition and by asking others to do the same.
