A decision was made without anyone's knowledge or approval  that they would not be replacing the TWO special Education Teachers that are retiring after this school year. This not only directly affects my child, but hundreds of other children at Benton Central, the SpEd staff(who will now have way too many kids to be able to meet their needs) and the Principal who is now being left to clean up the mess the best he can. One of those teachers taught an Algebra Math Lab, which my daughter HAS to take in order to graduate!! Let's tell Benton Community School Corp that ALL their students matter, not just their athletes and those that are academically gifted!! Thank you for your support!!
