After the previous global and African American history teacher had to leave on maternity leave, The replacement Ms Nadia Beyersdorf became a much beloved teacher in her classes and in the wider Nest+M community. She helped ignite many students interest in global history while, always keeping an open door for students to ask questions and to socialize with their peers. Despite the majority of the student body wanting Nadia to continue her position as a teacher at NEST+M, many factors such as pay and the schools unwillingness to hire her, it currently looks uncertain that she stays. We, the student body hope that the school hires Nadia full time, as a major part of NEST would be lost.
