During the Great Recession San Jose was forced to make some tough choices. Now that the economy is improving, we should dedicate our resources to improving safety by putting more cops on the street and reinstating pay for those who sacrificed when times were tight. Support the plan to hire 200 more police officers and restore pay for San Jose’s finest!

Letter to
San Jose City Leaders
We support hiring 200 more San Jose police officers over the next four years to improve safety in our city. As residents and taxpayers, we understand that tough choices had to be made during the recession. But now that city revenues are starting to improve, it’s time to move forward with reinstating pay and hiring new officers to police our streets.

We support the legislation the City Council has passed to make these adjustments. Our police officers are among the finest in the nation, and they deserve our support.
