Epilepsy is a seizure condition found in many Americans. About 200,000 diagnosed yearly. Currently there is a law for all epileptics saying they have to be 6 months gran mail seizure (the most severe kind) free. The thing is not everyone’s case is that bad. While there are some who have 200 a year there are also some who only have two or three. I’m lucky enough to be part of the latter group, that being said I don’t think 6 months is fair to that group. The HHS should take into consideration the severity of the case and patients history before giving out 6 months no driving. That’s a huge burden to us who don’t have that bad of a case. A month is a fair enough minimum to ensure safety, six should be the absolute highest. Please help me and the hundreds of thousands of epileptics and help make this a reality. Thank you
