Studying for optional subjects is a huge burden for students of 11th and 12th classes who want to prepare for competition exams. Its of no doubt that these optional subjects are important for some students. But, for other students who are fighting for competition exams, optional subjects' exams is a huge headache. There is no point in organizing their descriptive exams because it becomes highly tough for students to learn so many things in a short time. Students who are preparing for competition exams will of course pay less attention to these subjects because usually they don't come in the exams for which they are preparing (most of them). Hence, they will start studying for these subject just 3 or 4 days before the exams. And subjective tests require a very thorough reading and understanding of the topic, which is not required for optional subjects because they don't come in most of the competition exams. Therefore, in nut shell, there shouldn't be any subjective exams for the optional subjects because they are of very less importance and create burden for students of 11th and 12th classes. Even if HPBOSE want to conduct these exams, it should be be made 100% objective to ease the pressure on students.
