I, Asjla Moss, am creating this Petition in hopes of finishing the very small stretch of sidewalk along 301 from our community (Vista Palms) to the Wawa gas station and other local businesses on 301/674. We currently have a long stretch of sidewalk along 301 behind our community, that abruptly comes to an end just before the Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, only to be continued just after that. I, as well as many other community members have seen first hand the real danger this poses to our residents. From kids biking to the gas station, elderly and disabled members without transportation trying to get to the stores, and just the average resident attempting to access the stores nearby. We most recently had a disabled man in a wheelchair struggle significantly in the grass, and roadway trying to get to the nearby stores for basic necessities. We NEED a safe route! The stretch needing to be finished is very small, but the impact of finishing it would be HUGE for our community! Please help us keep our community members safe and connected, by finishing this sidewalk.
