Please sign this petition to support our community of neighbors and help us ask the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners and Hillsborough County Planning and Development to STOP THE OVER DEVELOPMENT of a 12 Bed Community Residential Home #SU-21-0915 in our rural neighborhood.  There is already an existing community residential facility in our neighborhood.  These commissioners were voted into office on the promise to curb the over development into rural areas and to have more infrastructure in place before we add more homes in an already overcrowded area. 

Project #SU-21-0915 - Proposed 12 Bed Community Residential Home

Our opposition is based on the following concerns:

1.     Proposed projects are not in compliance with current zoning.

2.     Additional significant flooding conditions.

3.     Disruption of wetland areas, endangered species (hawks, turtles and other wildlife)

4.     Proposed projects are overreach and will be out of character for this area (large property lots per home, mini farm lands (i.e. horse country), some historic homesteads, etc.

5.   There is already an existing community residential home located within 1/2 mile of proposed location.
