There have been multiple hit and run accidents on Bella Vista Drive, Bella Vista.
Vehicles have been hit by speeding cars entering Bella Vista Drive from Westwood Way Bella Vista. Our vehicles have been hit three times in the space of 6 months. The police have been notified. The Keep Left warning sign at the top of Bella Vista Drive, at the same round a bout has been hit and replaced numerous times.
In one of the hit and run cases, the speeding driver, hit the Keep Left warning sign, over steered and ended up in my neighbours front yard, narrowly missing two little girls that were standing near their letter box, after deflecting off our parked cars.
The residents of Bella Vista Drive would like council to take action immediately. The police officers that came to investigate the latest hit and run (which occurred 8th July) will also be forwarding a request for council to address the significant traffic safety risks. Please do not wait for someone to be killed before you take action.
Council has received a request to alter traffic conditions. The request number is 60764.
