Hillcrest High has a mandate on facial hair which some students and community members feel is sexist and unnecessary and can cause conflict, drama, and issues between students and teachers.

The issue surrounding this is facial hair is a natural thing and is a form of self-expression, and mandating is breaching students' ability to express themselves, some students also encouraged  facial hair for religious reasons and the school rule also causes issues in that regard

The change I am hoping to see is the school to take a look at the rule and allow students to express themselves through facial hair
