The installation and use of more recycling bins at Hillcrest High School

Around the school, more and more food scraps and plastic, glass and tins are being left on the ground, or going to the landfill. If we were to install recycling bins by every second rubbish bin, and possibly a few compost bins around the school, this would encourage students to utilise these while at school but also encourage families to start recycling and composting at home also. This would lead to a cleaner community and would educate our students on the importance of recycling and composting.
