Breathitt county dam is located around the highway 15 going to towards hazard it separates pan bowl lake and the north fork of the Kentucky river if it breaks it will cause Breathitt county to turn into an island. This dam has been an issue since last year and flooded brewers trailer court. Last year they temporarily patched it but this year June  28,2022 was the worst flood that they have ever seen. They had to close this road and evacuated the only hospital they have in this location. They need a permanent fix soon before another flood  happens and wipes my hometown out. The dam has never been an issue until slones trailer court got sold to another landlord they ended up blocking off the drain that leads to the Kentucky  river which lets the back water have somewheres to go. As the result of this slones trailer court ended up completely in water which also has never happened before since they build up a flood wall.
