Dear Highland Staff, 

Don't forget, these are your rules, not ours. You're the one who made up the rule that we couldn't touch other people's things. That's fine, I can't complain. But, you're the one who is telling us to follow the rules. You're the ones who are saying that we misbehave all the time. And yet, you don't even follow your own rules.

THESE ARE OUR PHONES, AND YOU DON'T HAVE A RIGHT TO TOUCH THEM.

Let's say that I go up to you while you're eating and watching your phone. Then I take it and I tell you that I'm going to give it back at the end of the day. How do you feel? Do you feel like I'm doing something wrong by taking your phone? Well, if you do, that's how we feel. Me, personally, I don't have a phone. but I DO have friends who have phones. They didn't have their phones taken away because they were good children. But I DID see people who had their phones taken away and told that they would get them at the end of the day.

Our parents bought these phones for us to use, not for you to take them away. If you think there is a reason why you don't want us to use them, that's okay. You can tell it to us over the intercom, and we won't use our phones. That's simple. But don't take it away from us.
